Friday Blowdry and Sunday Haircut Specials Explained
By Bella Garcia · · 4 min read
Two services on our menu only exist on one day of the week. The Forty Five Dollar Friday Blowdry and the Seventy Dollar Sunday Haircut are weekly specials, and they come with a few rules that are easy to miss when you're booking quickly. Here's what each one covers, what it leaves out, and how to fit them into your routine.
Forty Five Dollar Friday Blowdry
Price: $45. Time: about 1 hr.
What it includes, in the salon's own terms: a wash and blowdry with any style of choice, offered on Fridays only.
What to know before you book:
- Fridays only. It can't be booked for another day, and it won't be applied to a regular wash + blowdry on a Thursday.
- Hollywood waves and updos are excluded. These aren't available as part of the special. If you want one of those, book the regular service or updo styling instead.
- Extensions cost extra. There's an added charge if you have extensions, so mention them when you book.
- Any style otherwise. Sleek, bouncy, curled ends, loose waves: the style is still your call.
Seventy Dollar Sunday Haircut
Price: $70. Time: about 1 hr 30 mins.
What it includes: a haircut, a wash, and a blowdry, offered on Sundays only.
- Sundays only. The rest of the week, a cut with wash and blowdry is booked as haircut + blowdry.
- Hollywood waves and updos are excluded from the blowdry portion.
- It's a full cut, not a trim-only option. You get a wash first and a finished style at the end.
How the specials compare with the everyday menu
Each special lines up with a regular service you can book on other days. Here are the current prices side by side so you can see them for yourself:
- Friday Blowdry ($45) vs. wash + blowdry, no extensions ($65) or with extensions ($85). The everyday service is available on any open day and allows Hollywood waves or updos for an additional charge. The Friday version doesn't offer those finishes at all.
- Sunday Haircut ($70) vs. haircut + blowdry ($90). Same idea: a wash, a cut, and a blowdry. The everyday version works on your schedule rather than one day.
- Quickdry ($45) and the dry haircut ($45) are the shorter everyday choices if you don't need the wash.
The trade-off is simple. The specials are tied to a specific day and have tighter rules on finishes. The everyday services are more flexible.
Specials vs. a blowdry membership
If you're getting blowouts several times a month, the memberships are worth a look alongside the Friday special:
- TIER 1 ($104 per month): 2 blowdry services a month, any style, with 1 unused blowdry rolling over.
- TIER 2 ($208 per month): 4 blowouts a month, a scalp treatment add-on, and 1 blowout allowed to roll over.
- Extension versions: TIER 1 is $144 and TIER 2 is $288.
The biggest practical difference is flexibility. Membership blowouts aren't limited to Fridays, while the special is. On the other hand, the Friday Blowdry has no monthly commitment. Hollywood waves and updos are an extra charge with memberships too. Our breakdown of what each membership tier includes goes deeper if you're comparing.
Who each special works well for
The Friday Blowdry
- People who want fresh hair heading into the weekend: dinners, dates, weekend photos.
- Anyone who books an occasional blowout and doesn't want a membership.
- Guests whose favorite style is a classic smooth or bouncy finish rather than sculpted waves.
The Sunday Haircut
- People who have Sunday free and want to start the week with a clean shape.
- Anyone due for a cut who also wants to leave styled.
- Guests on a regular cutting rhythm who can plan their visits around Sundays.
How to plan around them
- Work backward from your event. A Friday blowout is well timed for something Friday night or Saturday. If your event is midweek, the regular wash + blowdry closer to the day makes more sense.
- Line up your cutting schedule with Sundays. If you cut every six to ten weeks, pick the Sunday that falls closest and book it ahead.
- Pair them across a weekend. Some guests get a Sunday cut, then come back on a later Friday for a blowout once the new shape has settled.
- Skip doubling up with color. Color services on our menu already include a blowdry, so a color day doesn't need a Friday Blowdry on top.
Booking tips
- Pick the special by name when booking online. Choosing the regular service on a Friday or Sunday won't switch it to the special.
- Mention extensions for the Friday Blowdry so the added charge and timing are accounted for.
- Decide your finish ahead of time. If you want Hollywood waves or an updo, book a regular service instead. To see what the everyday version involves, read our walkthrough of the signature wash + blowdry.
- Book early. Specials on a single day can fill up, so reserve as soon as you know your plans.
The full lineup, including both specials, is on our price and services menu.

FAQ
Can I get Hollywood waves with the Friday Blowdry if I pay extra?
No. Hollywood waves and updos are excluded from the Friday special. Book the regular wash + blowdry, where they're available for an additional charge.
Does the Sunday Haircut include a wash and style?
Yes. It includes a haircut, a wash, and a blowdry, with Hollywood waves and updos excluded.
Can I use a membership blowout on a Friday instead of the special?
Membership blowouts aren't tied to Fridays. Ask the team how to book your membership visit, since the Friday Blowdry is a separate service.
