Is a Blowdry Membership Worth It?

If you already book blowouts a couple of times a month, a membership can lower what you pay per visit and take the guesswork out of planning. Here’s exactly what each tier includes, what it doesn’t, and how to tell whether the numbers work for you.

What’s included in each tier

Both tiers also come in an extensions version, covered below. In every tier, Hollywood waves and updo styling are an additional charge, so if you want one of those for an event, ask us for pricing when you book.

Do the math

A single wash + blowdry is $65 on our menu. Tier 1 covers two of those visits each month for $104, which comes out lower than booking them one at a time. Tier 2 brings the cost of each blowout down further and adds a scalp treatment, which on its own is $35. A simple rule: if you’re in the chair at least twice a month, Tier 1 likely saves you money; if you’re in weekly, Tier 2 usually does.

Who it’s a good fit for

How a blowdry membership works, step by step

  1. Pick your tier. Choose Tier 1 or Tier 2 based on how often you like a fresh blowout, and choose the extensions version if you wear extensions.
  2. Book your visits. Use the BOOK button on our site to schedule each blowout when it suits you. Each visit is a wash and blowdry in any style you like, from sleek and straight to big, bouncy volume.
  3. Use or roll over. In both tiers, one unused blowout carries into the next month. Anything beyond that one doesn’t carry over.
  4. Add extras when you want. Tier 2 includes a scalp treatment add-on each month, which can be added to one of your blowout visits. Hollywood waves, updos and other menu services are booked and priced separately.

If you have questions about billing or scheduling for your situation, ask us how membership billing works and we’ll walk you through it.

The math with extensions

Extensions take more time and care to wash and dry, so they’re priced higher. A single wash + blowdry with extensions is $85. The Tier 1 extensions membership is $144 for two visits a month, and the Tier 2 extensions membership is $288 for four visits plus the scalp treatment add-on. Rollover works the same way: one unused blowout per month. Our extension care routine for between visits covers brushing, sleeping and washing at home.

Tier 1 or Tier 2: which is right for you?

Choose Tier 1 if you like a blowout for a couple of key moments each month, such as a work presentation and a weekend event. It keeps you polished without committing to a weekly visit.

Choose Tier 2 if you want your hair done roughly once a week, or if your scalp gets oily or itchy and you’d actually use the monthly scalp treatment. That treatment includes a scalp analysis, pre-wash conditioning, cleanse, massage, steam and a custom mask, and here’s what a regular scalp treatment can do for your hair.

When a membership might not be the best fit

If you only get a blowout once a month or less, a membership may not save you much. Two lower-cost options:

You can start with those and switch to a membership once you see how often you come in. Not sure which drying service fits your hair? Here’s when a quickdry makes more sense than a full blowout.

FAQ

Do unused blowouts roll over?

Yes, in both tiers. One unused blowout rolls over each month, in the regular and extensions versions alike.

Can I get Hollywood waves with my membership?

Membership blowouts can be any style of choice, but Hollywood waves and updo styling are an additional charge. Contact us for current pricing on those.

What’s included in Tier 2?

Four blowouts a month in any style, one scalp treatment add-on, and one unused blowout allowed to roll over to the next month.
